Libby Squire’s murder in Hull in 2019 shocked the nation.
In the years since I’ve supported Lisa Squire's campaign to toughen the law on ‘non-contact’ sex offences.
Now our Crime and Policing Bill will make this happen. In the most recent Committee Session of the Crime and Policing Bill, Alex Davies Jones, Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Victims, outlined how this will work and paid tribute to the campaign by Libby's Mother Lisa Squire on this.
