Bombed National Picture Theatre site returns to local use after 85 years

Diana Johnson MP spoke about Hull's experience in the Blitz at today's opening of the restored National Picture Theatre in Beverley Road.

The Hull North and Cottingham MP, a patron of the National Civilian World War Two Memorial Trust, also met some of those who have worked for many years to restore the Beverley Road site to local community use 85 years after it was bombed on 18 March 1941.
