Women's rights in Afghanistan

Diana Johnson MP

Following the Taliban's return to power in Afghanistan in 2021 there has been an appalling degradation of women's rights in the country.

In Parliament I urged the Government to ensure that women’s basic human rights in Afghanistan are upheld.
