It's time for the rollout of the Hull North Small Business Awards 2017!

Following the success of the 2015 and 2016 Hull North Small Business Awards, the campaign is back for 2017. This is Diana's way of celebrating Small Business Saturday which this year will be on Saturday 2nd December.

Small local businesses are ones set up by and employing local people. They are not part of a national chain. They provide goods and services in our local community all over Hull North from the Avenues to North Bransholme, from Orchard Park to Stepney.

This year the campaign will roll out in two stages.

The first stage involves local people nominating their favourite small business by 13th November.

After this date the businesses with the most nominations will be put on a shortlist, entering the final stage of the contest.

The final stage involves local residents voting for the businesses who have been shortlisted.

The winner will be announced on 1st December.
