MP to call in on key Hull youth organisation

Hull North MP Diana Johnson is to visit the Hull Council for Voluntary Youth Services (HCVYS) to learn more about the organisation's work with young people in Hull.
The visit is to take place tomorrow (Tuesday 19 September) at the HCVYS offices at 47-49 Queen's Dock Avenue, Hull HU1 3DR at 3pm.
HCVYS is a voluntary sector organisation that works with youth groups in Hull to promote best practice and build capacity in youth work across the city.
Diana Johnson MP said: "The whole community has an interest in having effective and efficient services for young people and I will be very interested in learning more about the work that HCVYS undertakes."
Steve Rock, Chair of HCVYS, said: "It's great that we will have an opportunity to show Diana what we are doing at HCVYS in developing a vibrant voluntary and community youth sector that can help improve the lives and opportunities of young people in Hull."
