Four other local businesses were also Highly Commended.

These Small Business Awards, promoting local small businesses, are part of this year’s Small Business Saturday that takes place today (Saturday 3 December). First held in 2013, this seeks to promote independent small businesses in local high streets and communities.
Hull North MP Diana Johnson said: “Congratulations to Man Cave on Greenwood Avenue for being voted by local people as my Hull North Small Business Saturday winner. Well done too to those businesses who were runners-up or Highly Commended in a very tight contest.
“These independent small businesses are the lifeblood of our local community. They give excellent service all year round, providing choice for local shoppers and valuable jobs."
“During the aftermath of COVID and with the cost-of-living crisis hitting Hull hard, many of our local businesses in every part of Hull North have gone the extra mile in challenging circumstances to serve local people.”
