Mobility carHull North MP today raised concerns in the Commons over how many disabled people in Hull will lose their mobility cars under Coalition welfare reforms.

Speaking in the Commons, Diana Johnson MP asked: "There are currently 3,200 Motability Scheme customers in Hull. Can we have a debate on the floor of the House to explore what proportion of these will lose their mobility vehicles when their eligibility is reviewed, under the Coalition's Personal Independence Payments, between October 2013 and 2018?"

The exchange with Leader of the House Andrew Lansley took place in Business Questions.
