Ending violence against women and girls

During yesterday's debate on ending violence against women and girls I raised the issue of non-contact harassment which can often escalate into much more serious crime. I also voiced my concerns about the failure to meet multiple targets set to combat these crimes.

We need to see all pledges in the 'Tackling Violence Against Women and Girls' strategy implemented, and close the gaps in existing laws.
