Diana was presented with the Political Studies Association's Backbencher of the Year by John Bercow, Speaker of the House of Commons for her work as a backbencher campaigning for the victims of the NHS contaminated blood scandal.

This resulted in the Infected Blood Public Inquiry that started in September.
