Left behind neighbourhoods

This week I attended an excellent meeting of the All Party Parliamentary Group on "left behind" neighbourhoods.

The APPG is committed to developing practical policy solutions that help build community confidence and capacity, delivering improved social and economic outcomes for local residents.

We heard from expert witnesses Henry Kippin (Managing Director of the North of Tyne Combined Authority), Professor Gavin Parker (Professor of Planning at the University of Reading), Barbara Slasor (Gaunless Gateway Big Local Partnership) and Dr Billy Dasein (Chair of East Marsh United).
