Diana Johnson has represented Hull North since May 2005 - Hull’s first female MP. Elected in 2024 for the sixth time, Diana now represents Hull North and Cottingham. Diana is currently Minister of State for Policing, Fire and Crime Prevention in the Home Office. From December 2021 to May 2024 Diana was Chair of the Commons Home Affairs Select Committee. Diana was appointed a Dame in the 2020 New Year's Honours List.
