I was honoured to lay a wreath at the Kranji War Cemetery in Singapore.
More than 4,000 Second World War dead are buried at Kranji, with over 24,000 names on the Singapore Memorial.
I also attended the Parliamentary debate marking War Graves Week.
It is a huge privilege to be a Commonwealth War Graves commissioner on behalf of Parliament, and I pay tribute to everyone at Commonwealth War Graves who works to ensure all those who paid the ultimate sacrifice will never be forgotten.
