Hull MP asks why Hull is seeing bigger pharmacy cuts than Maidenhead

Diana Johnson MP has told MPs that community pharmacies in Hull are getting less protection from cuts than wealthier areas like the Prime Minister's Maidenhead constituency.
The Government recently introduced its 'Pharmacy Access Scheme' to help offset cuts in community pharmacy funding that the Government made in December 2016.
However, the Hull North MP pointed out that while 37% of pharmacies in wealthy Maidenhead can apply for assistance under the terms of the scheme, only 1% of pharmacies in the three Hull constituencies are eligible.
Yet again, Diana Johnson MP said, the most deprived areas with the greatest needs are seeing the biggest cuts from the current Government.
