Diana wins battle for NHS Contaminated Blood inquiry

Diana Johnson MP has secured a UK-wide public inquiry into the NHS Contaminated Blood scandal.
The Government announced the public inquiry shortly before the Emergency Debate that the Hull North MP had secured on the issue, after winning support from six Westminster political parties for a public inquiry.
After a seven year campaign to get the inquiry, Diana Johnson MP is now working to ensure that the Department of Health, a party heavily implicated in the 40-year scandal, do not have a leading role in the inquiry.
