Diana Johnson MP is supporting the online petition established by Hull North Constituent Tina Trowhill asking Hull City Council for a local inquiry into the baby ashes scandal in Hull.
Such an inquiry has previously been held in Shrewsbury. An increasing number of Hull families have been coming forward to say that they had been given incorrect information by Hull crematoriums about what had happened to the ashes of their deceased babies.
