30 May 2010: New MPs' expenses system introduced

With the election of the new Parliament, a new system independent from MPs has been introduced to administer the reformed expenses system for MPs.

This body, the Independent Parliamentary Standards Authority (IPSA), will also be responsible for the regular publication of information on expenses claims by MPs.
