11 February 2010: Housing Minister visits Orchard Park Estate

Diana hosted a visit by Housing Minister Ian Austin MP to the Orchard Park Estate. The Minister met with local residents and councillors concerned about proposals from Hull's Lib Dem Council that would mean the net loss of 685 council homes in Orchard Park. Residents complained to the Minister about the lack of proper consultation from Hull City Council on the use of the £156 million that the Labour Government has announced to improve Orchard Park housing.
